Premiering 23 years ago serving our kababayan in Central & Southern Philippines, Cebu TV Patrol (now TV Patrol Central Visayas) is now on its 23rd year of delivering news that matter to every resident in the Visayas and even Mindanao. Cebu TV Patrol was launched as the 1st regional newscast for Central & Southern Philippines in 1988-and the 1st being the Philippines' all-Cebuano newscast (and even longest-running).
It has come a long way--23 years of news and public service as headlined throughout history by Cebu TV's finest anchors-reporters like Dante Luzon, Harry Gasser, Titus Borromeo, Bingo Gonzales, Rosemarie Holganza Borromeo, Angela Calina, and current national TV Patrol reporter Ina Reformina. They have been covering everything from 1989 national coup in Cebu to 2007 ASEAN Summit to yearly Sinulog Festivals since 1988.
Currently, Leo Lastimosa, Haide Acuna and Cathy Gabronimo headline the newscast featuring the news all throughout Cebu, Bohol, Dumaguete City, Siquijor, Ormoc, Biliran & parts of Negros Island, East Visayas and Mindanao Region. Reporting for the newscast are Vilma Andales of Maayong Buntag Kapamilya, former Dumaguete TV Patroller Rico Lucena, Vera Leigh Lasam, Carine Asutilla, Junrey Nadela, Reno Tallada, Rachelle Dangin, Mary Ann Uy and more.
Cebu TV Patrol broadcasts 5:15pm Mon-Fri on ABS-CBN TV-3 Cebu and ABS-CBN stations in Ormoc, Bohol, Dumaguete and Biliran.
