TV Patrol Regional - Gensan | Mga Patrol ng Pilipino: Nagbabalita at naglilingkod sa Pilipino, saan man sa mundo! | ABS-CBN News

In 1996 ABS-CBN launched the 1st (and now longest running) local newscast in Socsksargen (South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Saranggani and General Santos City/Gensan). Now Gensan TV Patrol has been the lead in covering the news across the Southern Cotabato region. Examples of stories covered by the newscast were the rise of Gensan and Southern Cotabato, the communities of Gensan natives who became international Filipino stars like Manny Pacquiao, the flooding at South Cotabato's volcano slopes, and political landscape of Southern Cotabato. Among the anchors-reporters who covered them were Marivic Abrasada, Maja Moralde, former national TV Patroller Aladin Bacolodan and current ABS-CBN Manila reporter Dexter Ganibe.

Now leading the newscast is Jay Dayupay backed up by Francis Canlas, Chat Ansagay, Kathy Kasayan, Annie Salon Gacayan, Myrvic Kapunan and Beverly Anne Santos (also a granddaughter of General Paulino Santos, a top military hero, whom Gensan was actually named after being called Dadiangas).

Gensan TV Patrol airs 5:15pm Mon-Fri on ABS-CBN TV-3 Gensan, TV-24 Koronadal and all ABS-CBN stations in Southern Cotabato region.

Dagupan TV Patrol

The 1st and longest running local newscast in Dagupan City and Northcentral Luzon was launched 2 decades ago by ABS-CBN. Yes it is Dagupan TV Patrol. It has been at the forefront of covering news stories that matter to every person in Northcentral Luzon--among them commemorations of the 1991 North Luzon earthquake, the annual Pista'y Dayat, the pains and joys of development of Dagupan and Northcentral Luzon cities, the 2009 North Luzon storms and more. George Paul Guerrero, Malu Echeverria, Janice Abrogar, Mae Viray, Janice Doria and current national TV Patroller Jacqui Aluning-Manabat were among those who led covering the news events.

Now helmed by Cris Zuniga and Jing Vallejos, the newscast is backed up by Jonathan Ortega, Noriel Padiernos, Kori Quintos, Terry Aquino and more.

Dagupan TV Patrol airs 5:15pm Mon-Fri on ABS-CBN TV-3 and TV-32 in Dagupan, Cabanatuan and Tarlac and on TV-22 Aurora Province.

Butuan TV Patrol

Launched in 1999 as the 1st local all-Cebuano newscast in Butuan City and Caraga region to serve our countrymen in Northeast Mindanao, Butuan TV Patrol is continuously answering the needs of every resident of the Caraga region hungry for news and public service.

Butuan TV Patrol has covered almost every event in Caraga: the eventual rise of the cities of Butuan and Surigao and the blossoming of new cities in Caraga Region, the fragile peace-and-order situations in Caraga's remote villages, the eventual creation of the province of Dinagat Islands and the most recent Christmas season flooding.

Covering various events in the newscast's 11 years were Ivonnie Dumadag, Madeline Veluz, Michiko Makinano, Rheza Cemine, current CDOC TV Patroller Trini Ladringan-Velasco and current Davao TV Patrollers Andy Rara and Francis Magbanua.

Since 1995, CDOC TV Patrol (now TV Patrol Northern Mindanao) has been at the forefront of covering events that matter to almost every Mindanaoan.

Much of the headlines on the 1st ever all-Cebuano newscast of CDOC and Northern Mindanao has been the peace-and-order situations among our Christian, Muslim and lumad brethren, and even their celebrations and acts for a more united Mindanao. Luneta-site of its live New Year coverage for ringing in Year 2000/New Millennium and Year 2011-will be grander w/participation of ABS-CBN stars and personalities-a first for an Oriental New Year celebration. The network-sponsored Lunar New Year bash kicks off live at Luneta 6:00pm!
