Since the 1950s, ABS-CBN TV is a big client of foreign TV programming from TV stations and productions, from US to China and Japan and countries beyond, as per the book Kapitan. There is no doubt then having Disney and Warner Brother cartoons and animated series from the Big 3 TV networks in the US (NBC, CBS, ABC) on ABS-CBN TV back in the 1950s till Martial Law 1972, and then back again from 1986 till now. Now PH TV and ABS-CBN TV are celebrating 65 years, why not have the TV PLus channel Yey thru its Team Yey host a documentary on 65 years of cartoons and children's programming? For sure it will be a must-see. That's a Deal for me.
Another Deal here: Salute to the Kapamilya voice artists whose voices left a mark to the characters they portray in the cartoon series I watched, which became part of my youth. (Pardon me if it's a partial listing, but better partial than none at all.)
Vilma Borromeo: Princess Sarah
Oly de Guzman: Cedie (Ang Munting Prinsiper)
Louie Paraboles: Romeo (Mga Munting Pangarap ni Romeo)/Tom Sawyer (Tom Sawyer series and Huck Finn series)
Lucio Maylas: Huckleberry Finn (Huck Finn series)
Christian Velarde: Porphy (Porphy's Long Journey)
Grace Coronel: Cosette (Les Miserables: Pangarap ni Cosette)
Earl Ignacio: Peter Pan
Susan Lemon: Ginang Jo (Little Women: Si Nan at Si Ginang Jo)
Yvette Resurrection: Annie-Nan (Little Women: Si Nan at Si Ginang Jo)
