One Rant Here, Please...

I do not like the way some people treat Maria Ressa after explaining the recent psychiatric document fiasco. These people are very much hard to please and hard to convince! Well, as some people say, "You cannot win them all..."

For the longest time I have known people who continuously tell me that Philippine media and ABS-CBN are always biased. If all media are biased, then Philippine media must stop. I'm sure these people were saturated with campaigns of other media networks trumpeting slogans like "walang pinapanigan, walang kinakampihan". If they are really "walang pinapanigan" (siding with no one), they also mean they do not side with the truth at all ("walang pinapanigan kahit katotohanan")!

For the longest time I have known people who brand the Lopez family as money-hungry. (No thanks to the late dictator Marcos and his minions--dead or alive!)

For the longest time I have known people who brand the Lopez family and ABS-CBN as such with vested interests! Let's admit: all of us have vested interests, and we must wean from having them.

For the longest time I have known people who slam the way ABS-CBN delivers the news even before TV Patrol was born and even during the time Jim Lindenberg was delivering the news on DZBC (now ABS-CBN). I tell them: how do you tell everyone what's happening in your lives? Is it the truthful way or the way they want to hear?

For the longest time I have known people who tag ABS-CBN 's journalism as tainted. Those people must be transparent personally first.

ABS-CBN has finally apologized and will include Kapatiran to the next debates.

Maria Ressa has explained ABS-CBN's side.

My ultimate challenge: Be transparent with yourself! Be truthful to yourself, your spouse/partner/GF/BF/BFF/barkada/family/children! Then bash ABS-CBN News, under one condition. My condition: you follow my next sentence!

Those who are non-sinners (no sins at all since birth) have all the right to throw mud pie at ABS-CBN.

If you still have an axe to grind on ABS-CBN News on the recent events, you better go and alert ABS-CBN through these channels!

And my message for all those bashers who bash ABS-CBN News for no reason at all but for the sake of bashing: Mas mabuti kung Sana Kunin Kayo ni Lord. (Thanks Pokwang.)

An amicable ending for ABS-CBN News with Kapatiran, NP, LP and the rest of the candidates for the elections: that's a Deal. For those still have an axe to grind on ABS-CBN for no reason at all, I would have No Deal with you.
